Pidi with Chicken curry


Ingredients
Rice flour-one kg
Grated coconut- one cup
Cumin seeds- one spoon
Garlic- 10 big, chopped
Coconut milk-one cup
Curry leaves-2 sprig
Salt-to taste

Method

Roast the rice flour and add half coconut. In a pan boil 4 cup water with cumin seeds and garlic. Add half of  this water into rice flour  and make it  dough. Set aside for half an hour. Divide the dough into small balls. In a deep pan boil water with cumin seeds and garlic. Add curry leaves, grated coconut, coconut milk and salt. After boiling water drop balls. Mix softly. After 5 minutes switch off. Serve with chicken curry.

For Chicken curry

Chicken- half kg
Grated coconut-one cup
Dry red chilly-10
Onion – 2,chopped
Green chilly- squashed, 4
Ginger- squashed, one big piece
Garlic squashed- one spoon
Curry leaves- one sprig
Coriander powder-4 spoon
Garam masala-2 spoon
Chicken masala- one spoon
Salt- to taste

Cook chicken with turmeric powder and salt. Fry grated coconut,  dry red chilly,  coriander powder, garam  masala. And make it a paste. Heat oil in a pan add onion, green chilly, ginger, garlic, curry leaves. And saute well. Add chicken masala and coconut paste. Add half cup of water and chicken pieces. Add salt. Cook well. Adjust the gravy with your consistency. Switch off.
